Waney edge Yew stands with clamp holders for displaying Glass.
 
Handmade in my small Leicestershire workshop the stands are made from locally sourced English Yew.
 
Yew is quite a ‘knarley’ wood so the stands are packed full of character with knots, natural splits etc also the waney (or live) edge has been left on giving the wood it’s original look and with the contrasting colours. The ‘live edge’ can be curvy or more straight so no two stands are the same but each is uniquely beautiful.
 
Each stand is finished with a hard wearing oil.
 
Available in the following sizes whilst stocks last
-5cm long, one clamp
-10cm long, two clamps
-15cm long, two clamps
-20cm long, two clamps
-25cm long, two clamps
-30cm long, three clamps
 
The bases are 2cm high and at least 6cm deep, the 25/30 cm bases at least 8cm deep however these sizes excludes the live edge and because of the variance of the live edge each stand is slightly different. The 5cm long stand is approx 5cm deep but again this can vary.
 
There is a choice of upto three types of clamps, Standard 4-8mm, and the Deluxe in either 4-8mm or 6-10mm thickness. Each type of clamp is simply adjusted using a screwdriver(not included).
